- TheCommunist100: @waldoman7 ...why is it absurd to you ? most of the indie movies are pretty absurd >>, and what monkey king exactly ? and i dont know about you, but i stand up for the russians, as most people usally dont, if you get what i mean. Im not one to judge, unless i see something that deserves it. Besides, you cant tell sarcasm is going on when someone rights it down sometimes.
- Dinoslay: @DelorienAz Yes, the aliens aren't necessarily bad but for being classic cheese the Indy films could do with more subtle CGI and more real stunts/environments because the least the old cheese needs is a modernized stench. I don't hate this movie either if anyone was wondering that.

- LAHrebirth: @robertcote1 when did indie fans accept that jesus and god are real? they accepted as a story line you mean? if so then of course because biblical stuff sounds mysterious and and intriguing as alot of faiths kind of tie into each other and you can pull some interesting crap out of it aliens just makes it a joke, even x-files took a page out of this method where they find a alien tablet with knowledge of all faiths

Yet this moment which would have been the pinnacle of absurdness in any other movie was only the beginning. He then preceded to FORM A MONKEY ARMY. The monkeys heeded his call for freedom and democracy and attacked the soviet scum, for he is THE MONKEY KING.

I mean we have aliens here, but in temple of doom we have some rocks... honestly.... some rocks. so this movie isnt really that bad, and i know a lot of you will disagree with me on this, and even more wont care, but i figured i would write it to waste peoples time!
- DarkTibbles: I liked Indy 4. it was a lot better than Temple of doom. Terrrible animal props and the most annoying supporting characters. I didnt mind the aliens as it was presented in the correct way. There are some scientists and people who do believe that the crystal skulls (which do exist, just not quite how the movie portrays them) and the terrain layout which can only be seen from an extreme vertical view could in fact be meant possibly for aliens which could have to the natives been perceived as gods
